On the 18th Annual Meeting in Geilo, February 7th - 9th, 2008 the Presenters awards were given to:
- 1st prize for oral presentation: Jan Kiss, Department of Surgery, Turku University Hospital, Finland for his presentation: "Interferon-beta protects from vascular leakage via upregulation of CD73"
- 2ndprize for oral presentation: J. Bjørnstad, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Ullevaal University Hospital, Oslo, Norway for his presentation"Identification of mediators of reverse remodeling of the left ventricle in a murine model of reversible pressure overload"
- 1st prize for poster presentation: Stefan Vind-Kezunovic, Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery & Institute of Clinical Medicine, Aarhus University Hospital, Skejby, Denmark for his presentation: "Regional Wall Motion in Ischemic Heart Failure Assessed by Tagged Cardiac MRI"
